               Hello dear lovely readers, I know it's been a while but here I am. Well, today's topic has been something that have been on my mind for a while now as I evaluate myself and the product of many homes in our society.  I can't say much about many countries but from a country I grew up (Nigeria), I've observed that time and time again a lot of emphasis is placed on having a school or a formal education and sometimes once a person has a promising career like a doctor, lawyer, engineer amongst others, then the person can really do no wrong. 

Oh my my my! You know today is a special day in my life. Few days/weeks leading up today, I've been hearing the sound of PURPOSE!  I've come to realise that PURPOSE should be the very watch-word of every human being. When we don't ask the PURPOSE - question, we easily and quickly become entangled in the side attractions of this world.  I recently read a testimony of a man that died and had an encounter with Jesus. He said when he was with Jesus, he totally forgot he was married and had children. He said he only remembered his wife when Jesus gave him a message for her. Hmmm!

I know that the family is under attack from my personal experience and from my careful observation of so many homes and families all around the world.  There are so many darts and arrows that are thrown to completely destroy the family unit. These arrows include selfishness, sickness, lack of true love for God, lack of money, social media addictions, distance, pornography, domestic abuse, death or loss of a loved one, barrenness, infidelity, drugs, alcohol, being overly ruled by emotions etc.

Did you have a good Christmas celebration?  You know I had a silent thought as I struggled to replicate a very enticing Christmas food display. Below is what I was able to achieve:

Image:www.yourvibration.com Let me paint a scenario in your mind as I tell u this personal illustration.  On Christmas Eve, I and the kids were in the living room doing all kinds of things as we came back from our last minute shopping for Christmas. The kids messed up the living room by spreading all the dirty clothes on the floor, they were playing and doing what they know best, living life. I, on the other hand, played some music and started rejoicing about Jesus. I found new songs, took pictures, played with the kids as they too were dancing as they saw me rejoicing. I tried to do some cooking, feed the kids, get them to bed, clean and tidy up the living room, put their presents under the Christmas tree...  Now, I need your attention here! Do you know that while all these were going on, a brother of mine in the same house was in his room. He was there missing out on all that had happened. This is where I got the inspiration to write this post.

There after, a title will come to me and I'll begin to write in my notes. Ok enough of the story. Here's another one!  This title came to me this night and it's a summation of my quiet observation of so many things going on in and around me. Take for example, when we go to church, we'll do Sunday school, progress to the worship, prayer etc all the way to the benediction. Week in, week out we repeat almost the same cycle. It's sometimes so predictable that we can become actors in this stage and not be genuinely saved. Some people that really need God don't even bother to show up to church cos they know we'll barely scratch the surface of the main issue. This is dangerous. Why you may ask?
