Oh dear, this post is for you! And the answer is a big fat YES! Your life is VALID and guess what? The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob that i know is so beautiful for every situation.  Unlike how the society might make you feel like you’re an outcast or your situation is so hopeless, guess what God wants to give you Joy in that situation that looks so gloomy.  I couldn’t help but think while praying this prayer in church on Sunday - “Now therefore hear this, you lover of pleasures, who sit securely, who say in your heart, “I am, and there is no one besides me; I shall not sit as a widow or know the loss of children”:” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭47:8‬ ‭ESV‬‬   Verse 8b declares that may we not sit as a widow or know the loss of children in Jesus mighty name. Amen  But if this has been your reality, I can’t but imagine the kind of emotions you’ll be feeling when you hear prayer points like this. Yes how lost do you think you are right now? Are you so lost that you think there’s no more hope for you? When you look at your situation, do you feel like you’re far from the society’s definition of a perfect life? Are you drinking yourself to stupor just to numb the pain in your subconscious mind? Are you partying so loud that you don’t want to hear the silent voice in your head? Do you think your life is a complete mess? Well, if you’ve said yes to any of these questions, this post is for you? Whatever your current situation is right now, that is why Jesus came. He came to save you! Yes you! He wants to reach you like no one else can. He feels your pain and he will not leave you without a hope. Forget all the lies in your head, your life can still be beautiful because God specialises in situations that look humanly impossible. Don’t lose hope because this life is not all that there is. It is just a dress rehearsal for the main life so enjoy the ride and the journey.
