Why was there so much violence in the Old Testament of the bible?
Hello people, I have a pressing question in my heart and here it is: Why was there so much violence in the Old Testament of the bible? Most of it is claimed to be backed up by God because God wants his people to be victorious. For example the children of Israelites would go into a city or town killing children, men, women and livestock all in the name of possessing the land?
