What’s on your mind?

Hello, are you good? Yes you! What has been on your mind? Or the question is how has your mind become like this? Well for some, their mind has really become so good and positive. They have grown, healed and become very optimistic about life. They have decided to live their lives with no apology. They have made up their mind to stand up for what they believe in; stand up for what is right, speak up for the voiceless and be very intentional about their life. Oh, I’ll be so glad if that is your story because this is a great perspective to have about life.

I’ve discovered that IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO GUARD OUR MINDS! I mean, I cannot emphasise it enough.

The mind is something that no one can see but it is so close to us and so loud in silence. I’ve come to observe people that had the best of intentions and goals about life and family come to a place where they cannot handle or cope with their realities because of what they’ve accommodated in their minds for many years.

It is not rocket science, the saying ‘An idle mind is the devil’s workshop.’ is so true.

If you have nothing good nurturing your mind, the bad and nasty thoughts and ideas will begin to breed in it.

Your mind is a garden, your thoughts are like seeds, you can grow flowers or you can grow weeds.

                                                                                          - Osho

Oh, how the mighty have fallen just by losing the war in their minds! Ok, so you may be asking - how do I nurture my mind with good things? I’m glad you asked!

I’ll share based on my experience and close observations. I’ve come to realise that I cannot be strong, positive and optimistic about life without God! God is the very source of my life and when I open myself up to his word, he fills me with everything good. I’ve come to realise that I am not miserable in spite of what life has thrown at me. I realised that a lot of people could have been depressed, bitter, angry, feel rejected and so on if they experience some things that I’ve gone through. But in all, I realise that my secret to staying sane, pure, positive and not losing myself is the ability to feed my mind with the truth. I always seek to learn and grow and become a better version of myself because I believe it is possible to become better.

So, in conclusion, I’ll like to challenge you - open your mind up to the word of God. Seek the truth in God’s word because your life depends on it. No matter what your story is, you will find hope, purpose, life when you renew your mind with God’s word.

So stay blessed and don’t forget to leave a comment if you have anything to say about this post.

I love you ❤️
