What is your identity?

Hello there, this question popped up in my head while I was going through life journey. In this life many things define many people, things like money, family name and inheritance, marital status (does your marriage define you?) becoming a parent (does your children define who you are), the colour of your skin and on and on the list goes. The question is if you're stripped of all of these things, would you still have an identity?

Let me narrow in on this matter: you see when life treats you in a way that you think it's not fair, you need to dust yourself up and do not drown in your misery. Have a self talk reminding yourself of who you were before certain things happened in your life. So I'd like to encourage you not to get stuck in the rut of life. Get up because you can and because you must!!! Your life and destiny depends on it. Don't remain a victim to negative things that has happened to you.

So because you're a drop out, single parent, divorcee, single, blind, sick, illiterate, outcast, deprived, lonely, widowed, disabled, poor, illegal immigrant, imprisoned etc does not mean you're a failure or that your life has ended.

Remember the scripture that says:

'And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.'
                                                                                       Rom 8:28

These scenarios might have made you feel like less of a person by worldly standard but not by God's standard because God sees the best in us even when everyone sees the worst in us. Be encouraged!!!

My friend, it's time to dream again, it's time to make those dreams come true, it's time to be joyful from your inner soul, it's time to have a breath of fresh air!

Per adventure, you don't know who you are, it's time to seek and discover who God made you to be through his word. Though you've been pressed but not crushed; persecuted not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed; you're blessed beyond the curse for his promise will endure! God's joy is gonna be your strength.

Here's a little advice: when you start to feel the negative energy that wants to pollute your soul, send it out to the pit of hell. In staying through to who you are, you have to be able to guard your hearts.

Listen my friend, feed your mind with God because he is the only faithful & loyal friend.

GUARD YOUR HEART, YOUR PURPOSE DEPENDS ON IT!!!

Happy new year!
