Don't be caught in the wind!

Hello there, I'm begging and pleading with you and on behalf of your destiny; Please and please don't get CAUGHT UP IN THE WIND that is blowing so many away in our generation. 

Hmmm, as each day unfolds do you ever wonder what this wind is? The wind you don't want to get caught up in, is the wind of immorality, lack of acknowledgment of God, lies, deception, social media obsession, fraud, addiction to drugs and alcohol, pornography, illicit sex, uncontrolled anger, betrayal, ritual killing, kidnapping, stealing etc. This wind is really blowing so hard and it thrives in secrecy. It is brewed in the dark and it wants no light to be shone on it. 
Why do we get caught up in all of these? 
  • we are trying to fill a void in our lives 
  • Greed and selfishness 
  • we want to join the crowd 
  • it's just too hard to stand out, so we might as well join them.
  • we don't have a purpose and direction in life.

If you are caught up in some of these winds, you know why! 

My heart breaks as I see so many things and I just think to myself that Oh my, this is so wrong!!! This era of everything goes, is really not doing us and our future any favours. We are like Ephraim in the bible - we are left to our own devices. Hmmm!!! I have come to realise that as much as we crave freedom, it can be the most dangerous thing that can happen to our generation if it's not handled properly.  

Please I beg you my fellow reader,  don't be caught in the wind. However, if you're already caught in the wind, please start to disentangle yourself. Seek to know the truth, dare to pursue what is right. Write a good story with your life. Your life is so valuable. Get out of your closet of darkness and seek the light. Your life and destiny depends on this decision. 

What will it be? It's time to make a change.

Do men really know what they are getting themselves into when they say they want to get married?

Come on people, let's talk! You know while watching Bisi Olatilo show, I saw people dancing and celebrating as a man and a woman were joined together in holy matrimony! People congratulated them, they both danced and you know during the traditional engagement - they told the man to wave bye bye to all the single ladies! I wish that was easy as it looked!!!! Hmmm! You know from my own experience; if you've ever been privileged to do the traditional engagement you'll discover that everything you do there is symbolical of the virtues you need to embrace in marriage! Think about it! So back to the men - have you discovered that most marriage troubles stem from the man?

What is your identity?

Hello there, this question popped up in my head while I was going through life journey. In this life many things define many people, things like money, family name and inheritance, marital status (does your marriage define you?) becoming a parent (does your children define who you are), the colour of your skin and on and on the list goes. The question is if you're stripped of all of these things, would you still have an identity?
