Can you break the silence?

There is an injustice under the sun that keeps repeating itself from generation to generation because no one is bold enough to address it! I vow to break the silence of the cruelty that happens behind close doors in the community, society, families, churches, mosques, religious gatherings and behind our very own walls!!!

You see I have people that follow this blog secretly! They agree with what is being said and have more to say about it but wouldn't because it is a very sensitive topic!!! So when are we going to get rid of all the emotions that feed our comfort and be bold enough to make a change? I challenge you today to please break that silence and dare to question the way things are being done! Dare to question cultures and traditions! Dare to question why for example a particular gender have to take and bare all the burden of parenthood while the society, churches etc keep quiet and go with the flow! 

Oh listen, great injustice and violation of the human right is accepted in our society be it loud or quiet!!! I'm provoking you today in whatever position you hold - you can and you must break the silence!!! Think about it!!!

In this life many things define many people, things like money, family name and inheritance, marital status (does your marriage define you?) becoming a parent (does your children define who you are), the colour of your skin and on and on the list goes. Come on people, let's talk! You know while watching Bisi Olatilo show, I saw people dancing and celebrating as a man and a woman were joined together in holy matrimony! People congratulated them, they both danced and you know during the traditional engagement - they told the man to wave bye bye to all the single ladies! I wish that was easy as it looked!!!! Hmmm! You know from my own experience; if you've ever been privileged to do the traditional engagement you'll discover that everything you do there is symbolical of the virtues you need to embrace in marriage! Think about it! So back to the men - have you discovered that most marriage troubles stem from the man?
