Don’t be a hypocrite!

First of all, I’d like to say a big thank you to all that has been doing the work to be and live better lives. Well done to everyone that has been seeking to become a better version of themselves - better individual, father, mother, wife, husband etc. The world needs more of you and pls don’t stop doing the work and be encouraged. 

Today’s post is for people that remain complacent, unperturbed about being better or raising the next generation. People that are not actively seeking knowledge to overcome ignorance in family related issues. 

Let me tell you how you are contributing to injustice and everything related to cruelty and wickedness. 

-When you remain a boss of yourself and no one can talk to you - no parent, pastor, friend, wife or husband can talk to you about change. 

-when we don’t correct our friends when they make bad decisions. 

-when we glorify promiscuity in men

-when we glorify side-chick ministry

-when we uphold the status quo that taking care of children is only a woman’s responsibility. 

-When as fathers, we are physically present but not emotionally present for our children. 

-when the church continue to play politics and not focus and resolve family issues or out rightly overlook them and choose to focus on what they want to focus on. 

Who are you accountable to? We need to start doing the work to live more wholesome lives and build more wholesome children. We are in a crisis and in order for us to overcome this crisis, we must re-evaluate our lives and actions and see how we have contributed to the injustice in the world. 

There is hope if you and now start implementing the good things we have learnt. Shine your light in your little corner and the world will be brightened by a collection of our lights. 

Go and light your world!

In this life many things define many people, things like money, family name and inheritance, marital status (does your marriage define you?) becoming a parent (does your children define who you are), the colour of your skin and on and on the list goes. Come on people, let's talk! You know while watching Bisi Olatilo show, I saw people dancing and celebrating as a man and a woman were joined together in holy matrimony! People congratulated them, they both danced and you know during the traditional engagement - they told the man to wave bye bye to all the single ladies! I wish that was easy as it looked!!!! Hmmm! You know from my own experience; if you've ever been privileged to do the traditional engagement you'll discover that everything you do there is symbolical of the virtues you need to embrace in marriage! Think about it! So back to the men - have you discovered that most marriage troubles stem from the man?
