Help to the helpless

Sometimes in life, we are exposed to situations that render us helpless. It could be any of the following situations:
 
- being part of a dysfunctional family 
- born in a country where the citizens suffer no matter their attempt to make it in life 
- being financially incapacitated 

- being spiritually dead
-being physically impaired
-disappointed with life unexpected surprises
 
And the list goes on and on. You ask a silent question; where or who do I turn to for help or a change? 

Dear reader, if you're in any of these situations, I sympathise with you. I understand that day in day out, you're faced with challenges and you want to truly live a comfortable life. Presently, many are victims of the bad governance in Nigeria and other places in the world. Everyday living has become a struggle. So where can help come from u ask! My dear, unfortunately people you think will be there for you will shock you in your time of desperate need. 

This is where Jesus steps in, he is closer than a brother! When you look around you and there is no one to turn to; no one to truly understand your plight; you LOOK UPPPPPPPPPPP!!! Looking up is where your joy n peace lies in spite of what you're going through. The bible says

I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth! He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber. Indeed, he who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps. The LORD himself watches over you! The LORD stands beside you as your protective shade. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon at night. The LORD keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. The LORD keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.
Psalms 121:1-8 NLT

So please read these verses over n over again until it sinks in. When you cast all your cares n burdens unto Jesus, he'll make a way! He'll begin to send help to you from places n people u least expect it. 

You know I said this year has been declared a year of unprecedented favour but we'll need a great faith to receive it! So are u looking for where the next meal is going to come from or you want a breakthrough in your finances, home n marriage? Let's try Jesus!!! We need our faith to be increased so let's use his word n see how our lives will change for the better!!! 

Lord you know the hopes of the helpless. Surely you will hear their cries and comfort them.
Psalms 10:17 NLT

In this life many things define many people, things like money, family name and inheritance, marital status (does your marriage define you?) becoming a parent (does your children define who you are), the colour of your skin and on and on the list goes. Come on people, let's talk! You know while watching Bisi Olatilo show, I saw people dancing and celebrating as a man and a woman were joined together in holy matrimony! People congratulated them, they both danced and you know during the traditional engagement - they told the man to wave bye bye to all the single ladies! I wish that was easy as it looked!!!! Hmmm! You know from my own experience; if you've ever been privileged to do the traditional engagement you'll discover that everything you do there is symbolical of the virtues you need to embrace in marriage! Think about it! So back to the men - have you discovered that most marriage troubles stem from the man?
