How do you cope with weights of responsibilities?

When talking about coping - I mean how can you do what you can and must do, cheerfully n joyfully without being overwhelmed by the demands! In other words, how can we carry out our responsibilities without feeling excessive amount of pressure or having an overwhelming feeling? How do we find calmness and a place of stillness?

Each day we're all faced with different roles we have to play - be it husband, wife, father, mother, sister, aunty, uncle, niece, employee and the list is endless!

A thought just came into my mind now- you know when God says

'cast all your cares and burdens unto me for I care for you'

Let's analyse this. We all have cares and burdens; so how do we cast it all unto God? Come to think of it - we experience these things as weights because we worry about them!

Well, that might be a line of thought but let's be real here - how can we not have cares and worries when we all have daily needs to feed, cloth, shelter, progress, educate and so on. There are people faced with harsh realities and difficulties that affect their daily living. So how do we manage all these?

There's a saying that we're pilgrims on this earth... So let's walk in this consciousness when thinking of our responsibilities.

Dear reader, there is a way out! You know what - why don't we trust the word of God so that we will not have hypertension! We will not be here forever! We have to pray that God will change the way we see things because what you see as a burden, another can see as an opportunity.

So how are you seeing your responsibilities. Let's take time out to pray to God to help shape the way we see. By the way, I'm not trying to shy away from the fact that we don't sometimes cope well with our responsibilities that we sometimes get drowned in it. Rem and get prepared because life is filled with ups n downs. Tough times don't last but tough people do! Are you going to make a decision to be the tough one! Why don't you let God carry you today!

Have a bit of fresh air...
