Bringing up a generation that will not compromise loyalty n truthfulness!
Parents discipline their kids for lying at a tender age while masking their own untruthful lifestyles. So is it that, it's not OK to tell lies when you're young but once you're old - you'll have the license to tell as much lies as possible??? Think about it! We are such a hypocrite - punishing precious little ones because they lied while we do the same day in and day out!!!
Now to the next one, loyalty - faithful to one's oath, commitments, or obligations. A virtue that is so rare to find. We live in a world where the philosophy is 'if it's broken, replace it'. We cannot wait for change anymore because we're not patient to see it! Unfaithfulness is the order of the day. If you can't get what you want, just look for someone or something else that will give it to you.
For example, when a man and a woman decides to get married - do they really know what they're signing up for??? I'm asking this question because I ponder on it sometimes! When a woman decides to get married to a man - you're simply implying that you want to spend the rest of your life with this person, you'll accommodate the changes that occur in him, you'll be there through the ups n downs of life etc and the same goes for the man. But how we give up so easily when we encounter a challenge??? It ought not to be so!!!
So how do we stop this cycle of untruthfulness and disloyalty? Start by becoming the change you want to see. Remember that more than what we say, our children are observing our lives!!! So let's thrive to model the lives we want the next generation to live!
Thank you for making a change!
