Are you Satisfied with Crumbs?

It's just so sad how we live our every day lives feeding on crumbs only just to live by and start the whole cycle the next day! I have seen servants ride horses while princes walk like servants on foot. (Ecclesiastes 10:7 NCV).

This stems out from a quiet observation of my life, the state of the church, our personal philosophies of life and finally our silent expectations of what life should be!!! You see, it takes a person from outside your walls to accurately examine one's state of performance or progress!!! Even though, we are born with so many potentials we defeat ourselves each day by living in our comfort zones and this prevent us from living the very full life that Jesus Christ died for us to have!

So what is the key? Do a detailed review of your performance and progress. This applies to anyone! Be it a person that is unemployed and looking for ways to invest his/her time or a church that is accustomed to religious ways of doing things or a person that wants the fullness of what life has to offer!

Do you know that you cannot be dissatisfied with feeding on crumbs if you don't know that there's a bigger package for you??? I'm sad about following protocols and traditions that yield no good fruit in people's lives. I'm sad about a church that do not realise that the state its in, is a state of emergency for spiritual help and yet people continue to dance and sing and wallow in their sins. Homes are being destroyed each day, children are turning away from God and their parents, the heart of husbands are drifting away from their wives and homes. Immorality is the show of the day! Church has become another centre for fashion parade and many souls are perishing!!! The church pulpit has become pastor's stage to express his opinions about what other churches are doing wrong! We've become distracted!

We are all satisfied in our own Jerusalem; our favourite quote is 'to thy tent o Israel'. Sad, sad, sad!!! If the bible says that Jesus Christ came to give us life and to give us more abundantly!!! Do we have the abundant life??? We abhor hurts, anger, unforgiveness and offense and yet we have the biggest title in church! Soul winning, the heartbeat of God, is no longer part of a life of a christian and has moved to just a discussion during Sunday School!

So OK, I can go on and on but are we supposed to be satisfied with this kind of living? This post is to provoke me and you to truly access the state we're in and grow to thirst MORE after the FULLNESS OF GOD in all ramifications! Please allow the Holy Spirit to convict you of the world of sin. This being the end of year 2013, you & I might want to evaluate our lives and start dealing with issues!!! Happy new year in advance
